FAQs

You asked, we answered.

Do you use lye in your soap?

Yes—all true soap is made using sodium hydroxide (lye). During the soapmaking process, the lye is fully transformed (saponified) with oils, meaning none remains in the finished bar.

Are your soaps good for sensitive skin?

Yes—our formulations are designed to be gentle and non-stripping. We also offer low-scent or unscented options for especially sensitive skin. That said, every skin type is different, so we recommend reviewing ingredients before use.

Are your soaps natural?

We use high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients including plant-based oils, clays, and natural additives. Some bars may include fragrance oils or colorants to create specific scent experiences or designs.

How long does a bar of soap last?

With proper care, a bar typically lasts 3–4 weeks. Keeping your soap dry between uses will help it last longer.

How should I store my soap?

Store your soap in a dry, well-draining dish between uses. For unused bars, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Why does my soap look slightly different than the photos?

Each bar is handmade, so slight variations in color, design, and shape are part of what makes them unique.

When will my order ship?

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

Do you offer local pickup?

No, at this time we do not offer local pick-up. However, this is a goal of ours, so local pick-up options may be available in the future.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping on orders over $40.

Can I include a note with my order?

Absolutely—just leave your message at checkout and we’ll include it with your package.
